'The Good, The Bad, and The GOOFY' A Book in the Making

For the month of July I am showing 15 of my original watercolor illustrations for my upcoming Childrens’ book, ‘The Good, the Bad, and the Goofy’ which has all newly written stories based on Aesops Fables with artwork depicting each fable.

What's Up for Spring?

With the busy winter months past I'm concentrating on new projects for Spring . First off I'm showing my paintings in 3 venues in May and June in our Central Oregon area, and then I'm finishing my Children's Book of stories about animals. I've been painting the illustrations and writing the stories for the past 2 years and I will soon be showing the results in myJuly exhibit in Bend at Sage Framing and Gallery. Look for more news about that coming up!

Loads of Artistic ACTION!

Two art exhibits are up and showing now in downtown Bend and in Sunriver Oregon.

Bend has Vivian Olsen and Barbara Slater displaying their animal paintings at Cascade Sotheby's Realty on Wall St. for April. First Friday on April 5th will have a featured artists reception with free wine and beer from 5-8pm.

The second big show is up for 3 months from April through June and features artists who paint wild and tame animals - Vivian Olsen, Barbara Slater, and Jean Lubin display every critter from dogs who love trucks, to rodeo broncs, and to magnificent wolves. See these at Sunriver Resort Lodge in the Betty Gray Gallery - upstairs and down.
